Accidental Tourist

I'm in San Francisco waiting for JavaOne.

My brother in law was in UC Davis, so we got together and went sight-seeing. On Saturday we went to Marin County and Mount Tamalpais. The Bay Area view from the top of the mount is really great.

On Sunday we went the other way, Oakland - San Jose - Palo Alto - San Francisco. Palo Alto is a really nice place, and I was really impressed with Stanford University's Campus. I also liked San Jose.

I was really surprised by the weather here. Near the ocean is cloudy and foggy, and on the other side of the mountains, it's always warm and sunny. It's difficult to choose what to wear.

So far, JavaOne is beating TechEd ;).
