Solving "The attachment is too large" in Dynamics CRM...
I just came up again with this error message when uploading sales literature on new implementation. Hence, decided to post how to sort this out a little bit..
There is way to increment the max size up to 8mb. For doing so, you have to:

Go to Settings -> Administration

Click on System Settings

Click on E-mail tab

Go to the bottom, on the section 'Set file size (in kilobytes)'

Replace current value with "8,192"
This will let you attach files up to 8mb.
Another way to do this is to make the change directly on the web.config but you will need privileges to access the file.
