  • Is the same kind of lies that MS is doing with pc hunters ads, at the end we should not believe ads from any of the sides.

  • The ads don't even matter anymore. I went Mac a little over three years ago and have been much happier since. When my Parallels VM with Visual Studio and such takes a dump, as it often does every six to 12 months, I just bring back a copy of the clean install and get on with it.

    The ads are entertaining regardless.

  • Lies? Oh yeah, Lauren staged entrance in the Mac store.

  • I was surprised Apple went that direction with their ads. It reminds me of the time Larry Ellison said Oracle was bulletproof and only inspired a group of hackers to find the flaws. :-)

  • Don't get me wrong, I think that Apple has great hardware/software. What I don't like is the fact that they are promoting the Mac OS as immune to viruses.

  • I switched to the Mac 1 year 1/2 ago and the whole makes a lot more sense. Everything is more clean, lean and intuitive. And I am a .Net developer.

Today I run various flavours of Windows in VMware on the MAC and this is just perfect.

Free of viruses is probably some kind of lie, but I got no virus indeed. And to be fair I'm fed up with Microsoft bullshit. They deverse to be bullied a bit, that may wake them up a bit.
