[Fix] View Style Information disabled on Firefox Web Developer Toolbar

Some of the tools in the Firefox Web Developer Toolbar extension require that you install Firefox with the Developer's Tools option. If the "View Style Information" menu option is disabled this means the Dom Inspector is not installed.

Fix:
1. Uninstall Firefox. Your user settings should be maintained - mine were.
2. Download Firefox
3. Do a Custom Install
4. Check the "Developer's Tools" checkbox

  • I just wanted to add a comment that if you have the Sothink SWF Decompiler AddOn for firefox to disable it first before doing all the above, I did the above and nothing changed so I disabled all addons except the toolbar and it was working so step by step I illiminated all that where not affecting it and for whatever reason the Sothink SWF Decompiler was causing a problem disabled just it and now it works.
