  • Some of my favorites:

    Shift-F10: pops up the context menu even on keyboards without the Win keys. Like my precious, precious keyboard.

    Ctrl-+ : When viewing a listview in Details mode, this will auto-resize all columns. Not only convenient, I don't think there's any other way to do this.

    Ctrl-T / Ctrl-Shift-T : These are my favorite Visual Studio shortcuts, and do nothing constructive whatsoever:

    You can also use popup menu key (between right Window and Ctrl key) for same purpose.

  • I think my favorite part of the Ctrl-Shift-Esc combination is that on a properly sturdy keyboard, like my aforementioned ancient IBM, I can access the task manager with a well-aimed karate chop to the left edge of the keyboard.

  • Win key+L ..lock the system
