Names can really be a problem -- just ask a German about
WiX (Windows Installer XML toolset)... In this case, the
pronouncation of "wix" is equal to that of "wichs" which
unfortunately makes every German think what English
speaking people would think when hearing the word
"w-a-n-k". Pronouncing WiX as an acronym doesn't really
help in this case...
I guess telling someone to "Zune Off" would also work.

The funny thing is that it sounds like it's going to be
prenounced that way, since it's a competitor of iTunes
-> Tune -> Zune. :D

Reminds me of Mitsubishi's blunder with the Pajero SUV.
Wonder why it's called Montero now in many parts of the
world? Google for "pajero mexico")...
Ha ... for years many have been drinking "SANKA" ... in
my mom's Country (Or rather Caribbean Island) Curacao,
"sanka" literally means "ass." Needless to say my mom
alwasy got a kick out of the Americal commercials with
TV's Dr. Marcus Welby promoting the stuff.
That said I don't feel that the two names sound enough
alike to be concerned. I say "ZOON" I've heard it called
in the media like CNN "ZOON" but now one has until now
tried saying "Zee-oone" or making a "long" U sound.
