I think the problem is not the entrance fee but the 2
days duration.
Sparing an emplyoee for 2 days is much more unlikely to
happen than a 1 day conference, something we've been
accustomed to, curtesy of Microsoft.
Since it's done the first time in Israel, why not start
with a one day conference?
You could do introductory issues + drilldown on one or
two methodologies and/or Agile related technologies -
the ones most recommended.
I have started implementing Scrum in my team and
everything seems to be a lot more in control.

I doubt it. IMO most companies do not actually employ
agile methodologies; when they do get employed it's
usually private enterprise on the part of relatively
low-level managers, or ocassionaly even developers
themselves.
I agree with Amitai, few people will attend a two days
conferrence. On the other hand if you could select and
pay only one of the two days, it can be a solution too.
