  • That is not specific to WM 5.0, that's been a "feature" of all versions of Pocket PC, Windows CE, etc. I've had five different Pocket PCs (PDAs and phones), and that's always been the case.

  • Note that the UI Guidelines merely forbid you from telling the user what the actual exit command is. The built-in applications (Contacts, Calendar, Pocket Word, etc.) use Ctrl-Q on the SIP to exit.

  • Ah. So it's a standard "feature" on all these platforms. Lovely.

Erich: Why would the guidelines note something like that?

  • the reason that i'm not using the ppc to read and write post is beacuse Orange takes 20 shekels per month for 5mb data..

it's a lot of money for just five mega bytes....

i wish that someday orange will have unlimited package

by the way- im talking about gprs package

if you are using 3th generation (and you are) it's difference

Enjoy , its a great phone , but a little big for me to carring it

    Dror.

  • You can actually go into settings and click on the memory tab to close apps too. You don't need a special app, I do agree that the whole close isn't close thing is stupid though.
