I agree with other posts. It makes no sense to have config files that are read only. Almost every internal app that we do, we have to write our own code to write to the config files. Lame Lame Lame. This should be provided as part of the framework. Let the developer decide when to read and write.
This will get me started down the whole "sealed" classes fiasco.... yuk.
