Why would he have to reverse engineer it? It's open
source, just look at the code.
Scott: I'm not sure, but my guess is that if you can
reverse engineer it wihout looking at the source code,
so can another hacker. The source probably does not lead
on the strength of the problem as proving that it can be
perdicted what the next number will be (or was)..
wouldn't you say?
I read part of the paper, it seems (to use plain
english) that the random number source code is a total
hacked mess, perhaps the binary is more readable than
the source? after all it is Linux!
