Reading this post I must say I'm sorry I couldn't
attend.
I was planning on coming, but when I saw how much work i
had left to so this week, and how little time was left,
I chose to stay in the office.
Next time... :)
Hey Roy,
Sorry I didn't make it, but someone told me he saw me in
one of the pictures from a TDD workshop. Cool - I'm
famous! :P
See you at the geekdinner tomorrow!
p.s. - Gidi, why don't you get a blog? Oh, well, I'll
badger you about it over the intranet mail tomorrow...
;)
1000? Holy smokes! I haven't had that many people in a
room, but still I know JUST what you were feeling. When I
did my second DevDays - I was feeling VERY good about
the content and my knowledge - psyched about the talk. I
stood on the stage as the room filled to about 300 or
more people. I looked up and I just felt like my heart
stopped. I took a deep breath (I think the mike was on,
so everyone must have heard it...) and just went for it.
DevConnections was my night of one hour of sleep so I
had to use *everything* to do my talks and couldnt' deal
with anything else - if it hadn't been for Kathleen
Dollard, I may not have even made it to the room. So I
*totally* know what you were going through. Congrats.
It's a great thing to have gotten behind you so next
time you can say "hey, been there done that! No
problem!!"
