What I am reading here is that an Israeli is much more
direct in his words than an american, and that this is
much easier to understand.
I like this attitude, and I wish that other americans
recognized the benefit of speaking in a more direct,
less ego-centric fashion. The native americans called
this "speaking with a straight tongue" , and accused
americans of lacing their words with hidden meanings and
nuances.
I wonder... is this an american/israeli cultural
difference or is this a american/(european and eastern
world) kind of difference?
